The practice is research-based and exploratory, with a body of work that can best be described as visual storytelling, whether it’s a graphic identity, an advertising campaign, packaging, book design or a film project.

Riitta is led by creative director Cecilia Lindgren, who has amassed an extensive international experience, working with a broad range of clients and projects.
Lindgren spent 14 years in London, studying at London College of Communication and at the Royal College of Art, then starting her own studio in 2005*. Parallel to her own practice, she has worked for renowned agencies and publications in London and Stockholm. She relocated to Sweden in 2012.
*Lindgren renamed her studio Riitta in 2024 (formerly Cecilia Lindgren Studio) after her mother’s middle name.
