Architecture curators Summit wanted to lift Rudberger as an unsung hero and unknown innovator of Swedish architecture, and commissioned us to design their consequent exhibition. Our response was to hand paint the name in large letters, as both the display’s structural framework, and eye-catching banner, triggering the curiosity of passers-by. The colours of deep red and bright peach, and images in diverse formats — all pinned to the wall piece by piece — mirrored and celebrated Rudberger’s groundbreaking work, his craftsmanship and attention to detail.
