Front, Stockholm Furniture Fair and Vandalorum
Graphic design for Front’s Guest of Honour exhibition at the Stockholm Furniture Fair 2023. The exhibition itself is a meeting between moving image, sound and tapestry, visualising Front’s Design by Nature project. Front’s experimental use of both digital and analogue techniques inspired the typographical treatment throughout, while the square shapes of the title treatment is a reference to both the pixel and the grids of embroidery patterns. The graphic sheets were displayed as a curved shape — a poetic interpretation and reference to Front’s sketchbook-led process. The wall’s large-scale typography came to life together with Front’s 3D scanned forest projections.
